this is a very useful and often humorous book and, to my knowledge, the only book of quotations dedicated to the subject of chemistry. I recommend Chemically Speaking to anyone who wants to spice up an otherwise dull lecture (it's even got a few quotes for 'thermodynamics'!) or illustrate a point or two in an essay or paper.

Anyone who is interested in quotations cannot do without this book. It can also be recommended for those who take pleasure in original phraseology or in poetry with a scientific theme . It makes easy and agreeable reading with its spacious and attractive layout, and there are a few cartoons that lighten the book in an unobtrusive way.
